Helia Health Membership Information
Dear Trusted Patient,
As we approach Helia Health’s one-year anniversary this March, I want to take a moment to express my deep appreciation for your trust and partnership in your healthcare journey. I am proud of what we’ve built together and have gained valuable experience that will help ensure I can provide the highest level of care moving forward.
My two primary goals in stepping away from the traditional, insurance-driven model were to offer longer visit times and more direct accessibility between visits. The extended visit times have been invaluable to develop personalized plans. As the practice has grown, however, the increasing volume of messages has made it significantly more challenging to deliver on the second goal. I am implementing the following adjustments to continue offering the personalized, responsive care that defines concierge medicine:
Closing to New Patients – To maintain a high level of individualized attention, the practice will be closed to new patients, with a waitlist for future openings.
Introducing a $300 Annual Membership Fee – This fee will include:
- Unlimited access to messaging via the portal for clinical questions. This enables me to dedicate more time each week to prompt and thorough correspondence.
- A monthly newsletter cutting through the noise on the latest developments in menopause research and resources.
- Exclusive access to a menopause coaching program. I am excited to be partnering with a local menopause health coach. Details to follow for members.
Hiring a Registered Nurse – I’m thrilled to introduce Julia Thompson, RN, who will assist with messaging, phone calls, prescription refills, and clinical questions within her scope. Julia’s addition will help provide timely support and responses while maintaining the high-touch care experience you expect.
Upgrading our Electronic Medical Record system - We will be transitioning to Athena Health in mid-March to enhance record-sharing and integration with major healthcare systems. This change will improve efficiency and coordination of care moving forward. More details will be shared as we approach the transition date.
What This Means for You
- Membership is optional—you are welcome to continue your care with me without enrolling.
- If you choose not to enroll, you will still receive high-quality care, but clinical questions will require a scheduled follow-up visit instead of portal messaging.
- Messages related to refill requests, allergic reactions, or appointment scheduling do not require membership. Any other non-urgent medical inquiries will be directed to a team member who can assist in scheduling an appointment.
- All patients—whether members or not—must schedule at least one 60-minute follow-up visit per year to ensure comprehensive, ongoing care.
Effective Date & Next Steps
Starting March 1, 2025, paid membership will be required for ongoing messaging access outside of the exceptions noted above. Membership payments will be active until one year following the date of enrollment.
To enroll, please email membership@myheliahealth.com, and an invoice will be sent via the Charm Health portal. Please note that while most HSA/FSA plans do not cover concierge membership fees, some may—so please check your specific plan details. I have structured visits separately from the membership fee to ensure eligibility for HSA/FSA payments and out-of-network reimbursement.
I truly appreciate your support and understanding as I refine the practice to ensure sustainability and exceptional care for years to come. My goal remains the same—to provide you with the highest quality, personalized medical care that you deserve and that I strive to offer.
I look forward to continuing to partner with you in your healthcare journey.
Warmly,
Dr. Haddad
